I am interested in the tensions between inner pain and outward appearances in what is shown, what is hidden, and what slips through the cracks in between.
My photographic work is both conceptual, ironic, and surreal, capturing the boundaries of the human experience.

Each image I create is an invitation to reflection, disturbance, questioning, and emotion. I do not aim to offer answers, but to create space for discomfort, ambiguity, and unexpected beauty.

Goodbye is a photographic project that explores mental health and suicide. Through 11 images, it expresses themes of psychological pain, loneliness, and loss.

About the Artist
I'm Cláudia Dias, a Portuguese photographer focused on exploring themes related to mental health. My work reflects on human struggles, inner worlds, and the social masks we wear. I am drawn to the edges of human experience, where vulnerability, tension, and complexity meet.
